The purpose of the survey is to map the remaining resources and obtain more information about the mining areas in the Sound.

Furthermore, the survey should determine the environmental impact and illustrate the raw material mapping of the 3 existing catchment areas in the North Sound.

The project, valued at $620 000 (DKK 3,4 million), is expected to start in August this year and be completed by the end of March 2015.

The deadline for submission of tenders is July 21, 2014.
