Det norske Receives Employer Brand Award (Norway)
Yesterday, Det norske was the proud recipient of Scouting’s Employer Brand Award, awarded to the most attractive start-up Norwegian employer.
The headhunting agency Scouting has, for the fifth consecutive year, interviewed executives and experienced professionals in the oil and gas industry regarding the top most attractive employers. Det norske was awarded the topmost ranking for start-up oil companies, i.e., companies established after the year 2000.
In a press release Scouting says that ”It is undoubtedly industrial results that count, combined with positive reviews and a good standing. This will contribute to strengthen the winners in encountering future challenges and competition, although many still prefer to be employed by the largest, well-established companies”.
The jury reviews Det norske as follows:
”The journey can now commence. Det norske in Trondheim is about to embark on an exciting journey, and the basis for further growth is now in place. It did not come as a big surprise that Det norske was awarded the topmost ranking for Norwegian start-up companies established during the last ten years. Ivar Aasen will be the apprentice’s final examination, and Johan Sverdrup constitutes the jewel in the crown. It is particularly pleasant to observe that the supplier industry in Norway holds a company that involves suppliers in new and exciting ways in such high regard”.
The Head of HR in Det norske, Ståle Haverstadløkken, comments that:
”We are very pleased that we have now been recognized as a company with good progress on the path to growth, in addition to being a good employer”. Mr Haverstadløkken received the award on behalf of Det norske at a ceremony held in the Norwegian Petroleum Museum in Stavanger yesterday.”
