Dhiraagu Completes Repair Work on Sri Lanka-Maldives Cable

On 30 April telecommunications company Dhiraagu announced the completion of the work on the submarine cable between Maldives and Sri Lanka.

The ship ASEAN Explorer successfully finalized the repair work of the fault on the cable that has been located approximately 26km off Sri Lanka at a depth of 40m.

The company stated that affected services have been restored, and the customers should now be able to experience same service levels as prior to the incident.
