DOF secures work for three vessels

Norwegian supply shipping company DOF ASA has secured work for two of its platform supply vessels (PSVs) and one of its anchor handlers (AHTS). 

In Norway, Statoil has extended the contract for the 2008-built PSV Skandi Mongstad with one year from October 2016. Skandi Mongstad is of VS 495 DEM design and transports oilfield products and supplies to offshore drilling, as well as production facilities.

In Canada, the contract for the 2009-built PSV Skandi Flora has been extended with one well with estimated duration of 6 months. Planned startup is September/October 2016. Skandi Flora is an Aker PSV 06 CD design that joined the DOF fleet in 2009 and has been working on a long-term contract mainly in the North Sea.

In Argentina, Total Austral has extended the contract for the 1998-built AHTS Skandi Møgster with 6 months from October 2016. The Skandi Møgster is a purpose built vessel designed to undertake a range of anchor handling, tug, and supply operations worldwide.

The company added that assumed average Ebitda/day from the above contracts is approx. NOK 40 -45,000/vessel.
