Dong Energy elects Chairman of the Board

Danish energy company Dong Energy today announced that Thomas Thune Andersen was elected new Chairman of the Board of Directors of DONG Energy A/S at the company’s extraordinary general meeting.

Benny D. Loft, acting Chairman of the Board of Directors since DONG Energy’s annual general meeting on 12 March, will continue as a member of DONG Energy’s
Board of Directors and as the Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Thomas Thune Andersen has many years of experience from the energy sector and has seats on the boards of a number of international companies dealing in energy, logistics and distribution. 

Dong Energy said that the announcement does not change DONG Energy’s previous financial guidance for the 2014 financial year or the announced expected investment level for 2014-2015.
