Dovianus delivers sampling systems for Prelude FLNG

Dutch company Dovianus said it has delivered 101 sampling systems for Shell’s Prelude FLNG project in Australia.

Prelude FLNG will be fully and solely equipped with Dopak sampling systems, Dovanius said in a statement.

The project consists of the following Dopak series in various configurations: DPM, HD, S23 and S32-G samplers, the company said.

Currently under construction at Samsung Heavy Industries’ Geoje Island shipyard in South Korea, Prelude FLNG will be the largest floating offshore facility once completed.

Once operational, the Prelude FLNG facility will produce at least 5.3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of liquids: 3.6 mtpa of LNG, 1.3 mtpa of condensate (equivalent to 35,000 bbl/d) and 0.4 mtpa of LPG.

The FLNG facility will be moored about 200 km off the coast of Australia.
