According to the Milford Haven Port Authority shipping data, the 2008-built Al Huwaila LNG carrier with 217,000-cbm cargo capacity is scheduled to dock at the terminal’s jetty on May 2.

The LNG carrier jointly owned by Nakilat and Teekay will be the first to deliver a cargo to the Dragon LNG terminal in May.

The terminal at Waterston, Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire, is owned by Shell (50 percent) and Petronas (50 percent).

The facility has a maximum gas send out rate to the NTS of 7.6 billion cubic meters of gas per annum. The terminal can supply up to 10 percent of the UK’s energy needs.
