Dutch MPR Conducts Training Programme for UMC’s Divers
The first comprehensive training programme for UMC’s divers has been conducted last week, the Maritime journal reports.
The training, conducted by Dutch Maritime Propeller Repairs (MPR), will help the divers conduct thorough propellers and propeller systems inspection.
In order to successfully receive a certificate for the training programme, the divers must complete a number of exercises and accurately list 90% of the damage.
MPR MD Gert Hendriksen stated that the divers involved in the programme showed great interest and enthusiasm, as they were taught what damage information is important and why.
During the upcoming months the training will be delivered internationally after being translated into English, as reported by nauticwebnews.
