Dutch Organizing Baltic Sea Offshore Wind Mission
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl) is organizing an economic mission for offshore wind to Poland and Lithuania.
The economic mission will take place in Szczecin, Poland, and Vilnius, Lithuania, from 20 to 24 April.
According to RVO.nl, opportunities for the offshore wind sector in the Baltic Sea will be presented, as well as the market potential in the region.
The five-day program is being prepared in cooperation with the Dutch embassies in Warsaw and Vilnius, the regional network in the Baltic countries, the Polish Wind Energy Association (PWEA/PSEW) and Lithuanian Wind Power Association (LWPA).
It includes company visits, participation in the Pomeranian Offshore Wind Conference, round tables, seminars and network meetings.
RVO.nl emphasized that local expertise in offshore wind in Poland and the Baltic countries is limited, thus collaboration with foreign parties, including Dutch, is essential.
