EGAS issues four cargo tender
Egyptian Natural Gas Holding company is reportedly looking for four LNG cargoes.
Sources revealed to Reuters that the cargoes to be delivered in September and October should be unloaded at Jordan’s LNG terminal in the port of Aqaba.
EGAS has issued a tender calling only existing suppliers to submit their bids.
The company already has deals in place with Trafigura for 33 cargoes, nine from Vitol, seven from Noble Group and 16 cargoes from BP that it secured through a $2.2 billion tender.
Sources added that the Russian supplier, Gazprom, with whom EGAS has a deal for the supply of 35 cargoes over five years, has also been invited to the tender.
