Eidesvik appoints new CFO

Eidesvik Offshore, a Norway-based owner of offshore support and construction ships, has named its new chief financial officer (CFO).

Late last month, Eidesvik announced that Chief Financial Officer Svein Ove Enerstvedt would be resigning from the company due to family issues.

At the time, Jan Frederik Meling, CEO of Eidesvik, said: “We are very grateful for the outstanding efforts Svein Ove has shown all these years. We understand his decision and wish him all the best in the future.”

On Tuesday, Thor Krukhaug was appointed as the new CFO of Eidesvik Offshore. He comes from the position as Financial Manager of the company, which he has held since 2012.

Krukhaug will assume his new position on May 1, 2017, effectively relieving the current CFO of his duties.

Krukhaug is a graduate Master in Business and Economics from NHH Norwegian School of Economics and Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA).
