EnQuest Makes Management Changes

EnQuest has informed that Neil McCulloch is stepping down as chief operating officer and executive director of the company.

Neil joined EnQuest from OMV where he held the role of senior vice president Production & Engineering.

Neil is a graduate of Cambridge University and Heriot Watt University and holds a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering with Distinction.

He is a chartered member of the Institution of Materials Minerals and Mining, the Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers, and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Jock Lennox, chairman of EnQuest: “The board would like to thank Neil for his unstinting contribution to EnQuest during a challenging period for both the company and industry. We wish him well for the future.”

In addition, EnQuest has appointed Faysal Hamza as interim head of North Sea and Bob Davenport as managing director, North Sea, reporting to Faysal.

Prior to joining EnQuest, Bob led Apache’s North Sea operations. Faysal and Bob previously worked together to build EnQuest’s business in Malaysia.

John Penrose will replace Bob Davenport as managing director, Malaysia, the company added.
