The Suezmax is the final of four Ice Class vessels ordered by Euronav from South Korean Hyundai Heavy Industries.

Featuring a length of 277 meters and a width of 48 meters, the ship has a market value of USD 58.82 million, according to data provided by VesselsValue.

The first three vessels from the batch — Cap Quebec, Cap Pembroke and Cap Port Arthur — were delivered to the company earlier this year.

As informed, the vessel orders are accompanied by four seven-year time charter contracts with an unnamed refinery player.

The Suezmax fleet additions are part of the company’s fleet rejuvenation strategy which also includes the sale of older tonnage.

Euronav currently operates a fleet of more than 70 vessels comprising tankers and FSO ships.
