Fabricom lands ‘Rough’ work with Centrica

Centrica Storage Limited (CSL) has hired engineering company Fabricom Offshore for work on Centrica’s Rough field platforms in the UK North Sea.

According to Fabricom, the agreement also comprises options to provide support to the Easington terminal.

Fabricom on Thursday said the framework agreement was for five plus five years. Fabricom will provide provide engineering, procurement, construction and management services.

These will include including brownfield modifications, platform integrity and equipment upgrades, pre-decommissioning and decommissioning scopes on both platforms in the field.

Construction personnel have now been mobilized on both platforms to undertake a program of work scopes, Fabricom said.
