Fender Innovations BV, based in Den Helder, Holland today announced it will be the official fender supplier for the new RNLI Shannon Class life boats.

As a niche player, the company brings an innovative approach to the fender market with extreme lightweight fenders with excellent wear and tear characteristics.

All new fenders for the Shannon Class life boats will be designed and produced by Fender Innovations BV. The company is looking forward to provide the RNLI with the best and safest custom fender systems.

Designed entirely in-house by a team of RNLI engineers, the Shannon is the latest class of all-weather lifeboat to join RNLI fleet and the first to be propelled by waterjets instead of traditional propellers.
