The newbuild, Maria Grazia Onorato, was handed over to its owner in Flensburg on March 14, 2019. The vessel left the shipyard today, heading for the Port of Odense, Denmark.

It is the sixth RoRo ship that FSG has delivered to Siem and is identical to its sister vessel Alf Pollak, according to the shipbuilder.

Featuring a length of 209.8 meters and a width of 26 meters, the newbuild has a gross tonnage of 32,887 tons.

The Malta-flagged Maria Grazia Onorato will be chartered out to Moby Lines Europe and deployed in the Mediterranean area on the routes to and from Sardinia and Sicily.

Together with Alf Pollak, the ship will be amongst the newest and most modern RoRo ferries in the Mediterranean area, accommodating up to 310 semi-trailers and having a capacity of 4,076 lane meters.

FSG revealed it is also building another two RoRo ships of this series for Siem, scheduled for delivery in 2019 and 2020.
