GAC Strikes Mexican Partnership

GAC Strikes Mexican PartnershipGAC has boosted its logistics business in Mexico by signing an agency agreement with Grupo MS, a customs broker and freight forwarding company based in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.

Grupo MS now joins GAC’s global logistics network as a local partner, opening the door to companies located in Mexico to a joint portfolio of integrated logistics solutions.

Grupo MS Director Sergio Lara has been appointed to liaise between the two companies and ensure smooth service delivery to its customers.

The new partnership will focus on serving the increasing trade between Asia and Mexico, in response to positive changes in trade agreements with China in particular, and following in-depth study of the market by GAC’s business development team.

Reggie Gray, GAC North America’s Vice President – Business Development, said: “Last year, China and Mexico signed the Tequila Pact, encouraging trade between the two countries.

GAC already has a strong presence in China, and throughout the region, and we want businesses in Mexico to know we have what it takes to meet their logistics needs to and from Asia.”
