India’s state-run gas company GAIL is reportedly looking to sell three cargoes of liquefied natural gas from Dominion’s Cove Point LNG facility in Maryland.

Citing industry sources, Reuters reports the cargoes are put up for sale on a free-on-board (FOB) basis.

Cargoes are scheduled for loading in February, May and November 2020 with the tender closing on February 24.

GAIL has booked a total of 5.8 million tons of U.S. LNG per year on long term deals with Cheniere and Dominion from their respective Sabine Pass and Cove Point natural gas liquefaction and export projects.

The gas utility has already floated a similar tender selling three cargoes from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG export plant in Louisiana, with Swiss trading company Gunvor in pole position for the cargoes.
