Gazprom inks gas MoU with Srbijagas

Russia’s gas giant Gazprom and state-owned Srbijagas signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday.

The memorandum of understanding reflects the parties’ intent to consider the ways for promoting the cooperation in gas storage, NGV sector and small-scale LNG shipments, inter alia, within sci-tech projects, according to a Gazprom statement.

The two companies also addressed issues of the bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. Additional focus was placed on Russian natural gas supplies to Serbia and its storage in UGS facilities.

Pursuant to the memorandum, the parties will also address the possibility of the Banatski Dvor UGS expansion, the statement added.
