Gazprom, Sovcomflot tightening LNG ties

Leading figures in Gazprom and Sovcomflot met on Friday in St. Petersburg to discuss prospects for cooperation in arranging marine shipping of LNG. 

Gazprom’s Head Alexey Miller and Sergey Frank, Director General of Sovcomflot touched upon the transport of oil and offshore geological exploration.

Gazprom currently has two Sovcomflot’s vessels on charter deals for a long-term period.

LNG carriers Velikiy Novgorod and Pskov are used to deliver Gazprom’s chilled product worldwide to customers in Japan, Korea, China, India, Taiwan, the UK, the USA, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Mexico.
