GCGG’s Duke Vessel Bags New Seismic Contracts

Gardline CGG’s M/V Duke has been awarded three contracts for 2D seismic survey and geochemical sampling with major companies in Australia and South East Asia.

The contracts have a combined duration of approximately 100 days and an estimated value of USD 10 million. Startup is expected around late May with the projects spread throughout the year.

Gardline CGG (GCGG) is a Joint Venture between Gardline Geosurvey and CGG. Both companies bring together their unique and complimentary expertise, allowing GCGG to offer a single service package to the offshore exploration industry.

The Joint Venture operates the integrated multi role survey vessel M/V Duke which can undertake data acquisition from the sea surface through the water column, on the seabed and sub-seabed across the range of marine science disciplines including: 2D seismic, dual cable 3D seismic, rig/platform site investigation surveys, environmental baseline/monitoring surveys, cable and pipe route surveys, shallow geotechnical site investigations, regional swath bathymetry surveys and geochemical sampling.
