Pat Williams has been appointed Australia Business Manager.

“The APAC region in general – and Australia in particular – is a growing market for Geoforce,” said James MacLean, III, President and CEO of Geoforce. “We already have Track and Trace deployments in this region with some of the biggest names in oil and gas. With the incredible market opportunity in Australia and the ability to better serve our customers with a local presence, it was a very easy decision to establish our Australian entity, located in the heart of the action in Perth. Now we can keep inventory on hand, process orders quicker, assist in deployment, and be closer to our customers when they need support. We are very fortunate to have a veteran oil and gas executive, Pat Williams, as the person building our Australian presence.”

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to help launch Geoforce Australia,” said Pat Williams, Australia Business Manager for Geoforce. “I first became aware of Geoforce as a prospective customer, and I was extremely impressed with the company’s products, service commitment, and culture. Geoforce has a great name already in this region and we intend to build on that. We already have the best, safest, and most rugged GPS tracking products in the world, software and reports designed specifically for oil and gas, and a commitment to customer service. Now we have the feet on the ground as well.”

Geoforce PTY. Ltd. will be offering a range of Geoforce’s standard solutions focused on offshore oil and gas. These products include the revolutionary GT1 tracking device, the world’s only IECEx certified Zone 0 GPS tracking device. The GT1 was built specifically for the rigors of the oil and gas market, and is widely accepted as the safest, must rugged tracking device globally. The GT1 has received all regulatory and safety approvals to be deployed in Australia.
