The subsidiary companies in Germany are GES Deutschland GmbH and WKA-Service-Fehmarn GmbH.

GES’s main shareholder is 3i, leading international investor focused on mid-market Private Equity, based in London, with more than 12 billion euros of managed capital.

GES is eager to strengthen its market position in the renewal energy services, focusing on the German market.

“GES Deutschland GmbH has submitted the most interesting proposal”, said Dieter Dehlke, PowerWind Managing Director. Dehlke is optimistic about the leadership of GES Deutschland GmbH in the service sector: “PowerWind and GES employees are compatible, that is the reason why I see plenty of opportunities in the development of our position in the market thanks to the mutual cooperation.“

“In the last few weeks we looked into the services and installation division of PowerWind and we are quite sure about the potential “, said Peter Grosch, Chairman of GES. He wants to maintain the service business of PowerWind and merge it with the service business of GES. “To achieve this we see an important potential in the PowerWind employees experience”.
