Germany: WindEnergy Hamburg Labeled with WindMade

Germany WindEnergy Hamburg Labeled with WindMade

The WindMade label has now been awarded to the new trade show WindEnergy Hamburg, which gives the onshore and offshore wind industry a global platform from 2014 onwards. This means 100% of the electric power used at the event is from wind energy.

“Wind energy is a key resource for the future,” says Bernd Aufderheide, President and CEO of Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH (HMC). “We at HMC are very proud of the strong support we are giving to this development. We are helping to move things forward by ensuring appropriate power supply for major events such as WindEnergy Hamburg.”

WindEnergy Hamburg will be held from 23 to 26 September 2014 in Europe’s wind industry capital, where many of the industry’s leading companies have established their head offices. The concentration of know-how at this location and the strong international focus of this event, dedicated to the forward-looking wind industry, ensures that this will be the ideal platform for presentation of your innovations. The new global on- and offshore expo reflects the whole value chain of the wind industry.

Hamburg is the ideal location, with its maritime expertise and outstanding infrastructure. That gives exhibitors and visitors conditions which meet the expectations of dynamic development and increasing globalisation in the wind industry. The Advisory Board brings together the leading players and companies in the industry, including VDMA, Siemens Wind Power, REpower Systems, Nordex, GE Energy, Gamesa, Winergy, Dong Energy, Bosch Rexroth, ZF, Alstom, and Renewable Energy Hamburg.
