GLNG Camp Contract Goes to Easternwell (Australia)

Easternwell said that it has secured a A$20.8 million contract to support Santos’ GLNG Project.

The contract is a renewal for the provision of full camp facility management including catering and housekeeping services throughout the Surat and Cooper Basins.

The three-year contract commenced this month and includes two one-year extension options which, if exercised, will take the total value to A$34.6 million.

Warren Willmington, Easternwell’s Energy CEO said: “This is a great win for Easternwell. Camp Management is an essential part of the services we offer and it is a credit to the team that we won this contract. Santos is a long term client of ours and we’re pleased we can continue to provide great service through our camp management services.”

Mark Macfarlane, President Santos GLNG Project said: “We are proud to have been working with Easternwell, a local Queensland business, for more than 20 years. This contract shows the diverse capabilities of Easternwell which late last year also secured a $102 million well servicing contract for the Santos GLNG Project. Easternwell is a good example of a local company that is continuing to expand its workforce and benefit from the expanding coal seam gas industry.”
