Havyard Makes CBO Delivery
Havyard has delivered its final, in line of six, anchor-handling vessels to the Brazilian shipping company CBO.
A total of six Havyard 843 anchor-handling vessels have now been delivered, after the signing of a contract for four vessels in 2014 and a further two in 2016.
This is the biggest individual order that has ever been placed with Havyard Design & Solutions.
The vessels are said to be particularly well suited for the demanding depths of Brazilian waters. They have been specially adapted to Brazilian conditions and have greater width and deck capacity.
Havyard said it has developed and rationalised the design and equipment on the vessels, which has led to more cost-efficient and tailored solutions for the final vessels.
