Beattie ‘following Coalition policy’ on cruise ship terminal
The Queensland Opposition has slammed Premier Peter Beattie’s latest campaign pledge not to build a cruise ship terminal on the spit at the Gold Coast.
It says Queenslanders cannot trust anything Peter Beattie says.
Nationals MP Jeff Seeney says today’s announcement is nothing but a “con” because the Government is planning to allow other development in the environmentally-sensitive area.
