Cruise terminal project packs docks even tighter

Cargo shippers say they expect goods to start piling up on the docks now that construction has started on the cruise ship terminal at Pier 2 of Honolulu Harbor. Two cargo companies at neighboring Pier 1 say they’ve lost more than 45,000 square feet of operational space — about three-fourths the size of a football field — in quarters that are already cramped.
