First African forwarder deploying ARL’s e-Yield Suite

WorthyMind Nigeria Limited, headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, recently deployed ARL’s e-Yield Suite, thereby offering self-service transportation enquiries, online freight quotes and bookings for WorthyMind’s import services to Nigeria.

WorthyMind Nigeria Limited Managing Director, Mr. Austin Imevbore-Onime, expects that his customers will receive the new service well, and by offering self-service transportation services 24 hours a day on their website he expect to broaden his customer base, as it is easy for yet unknown customers as well as forwarding partners to interact with WorthyMind by using the online service on WorthyMind’s website.

As a ‘powered by’ solution the e-Yield Suite front-end is embedded into the forwarder’s own web-site allowing for selective offering of point-to-point or door-to-door transport services, co-marketing value adding transport services like insurance, customs clearance, information and document processing services next to the core transport product offered by the shipping lines and airlines.

“We expect that our company will be recognized as one of the first in West Africa deploying modern online e-services for our international clients and partners” states Austin. “Over time we expect to see most of our forwarding services business growth to be supported by the website self-service offerings, allowing us to focus on developing and executing attractive and professional forwarding services” he ends.

ARL’s e-Yield Suite is available in a number of deployment scenarios reflecting the characteristics of the transport provider, ranging from forwarders/ consolidators, NVOCCs, liner agents, short sea and deep sea shipping lines, rail, barge, ro-ro operators and multi-modal transport providers.
