Coast Guard helps disabled fishing vessel

Four of five crew members were rescued today from the fishing vessel Laurel, which began taking on water about 120 miles southwest of Oahu Friday night, the Coast Guard reported.
The 110-foot vesel radioed for help about 6:30 p.m. Friday, according to a Coast Guard news release.

A Coast Guard C-130 Hercules airplane from Air Station Barbers Point dropped two de-watering pumps and a VHF radio to the distressed vessel in a search and rescue mission.
