Cargo turnover at Baltic ports decreased by 2.5% in 9 months

In the first nine months of the year 2009, Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian ports handled 102.143 million tons of cargo, which is 2.5% less when compared to the first nine months of 2008. In the first nine months of this year, Latvian ports handled a total of 47.121 million tons of cargo, which is 0.9% less when compared to the first nine months of last year, informs DOW JONES/LETA.
