‘CMA CGM Don Carlos’ at Khorfakkan

It only seems like a few weeks ago that Gulftainer’s Khorfakkan Container Terminal was awaiting the first of CMA-CGM’s series of giant new 8500 TEU containerships. However it was in fact back in January of this year and since then a steady stream of these 100,000 DWT/335 meter long leviathans have berthed promptly, worked quickly and sailed again for Far Eastern ports, operating on the ‘FAL’ service.

On August 11th the latest in this class to make an appearance at Khorfakkan, the ‘CMA CGM Don Carlos’, berthed and as usual, worked rapidly before sailing. Now all sister ships of this size have called at the terminal.
