Vancouver port needs to invest C$1.4b up to 2016

The Port of Vancouver will need a new facility or a redevelopment of an existing one every two years from 2006 to 2016, costing a total of C$1.4 billion (S$1.8 billion). This is to help it to cope with the surging transpacific cargo volumes, said the head of the Vancouver Port Authority (VPA).
