CSSC aims to more than double sales to RMB 100bln by 2010

China State Shipbuilding Corp., the nation’s top ship maker by capacity, plans to more than double sales to RMB 100 billion by 2010 from RMB 40 billion last year.

The company, which aims to be the world’s largest shipbuilder before 2015, said sales growth in the next two to three years will be driven mainly by strong demand for bulk carriers rather than oil tankers or container ships.
