Charter vessel runs aground in Finland’s Turku archipelago

A charter vessel belonging to Finland’s Strandbo group ran aground in the Turku archipelago late on Tuesday morning, the West Finland Coast Guard reported. The incident took place north of Korpo.

The 25-metre vessel was transporting 42 passengers, as well as two crew members, at the time of the incident. No injuries were sustained, and significant oil spillage was avoided.
