Hydratight to Present at Germany and Bahrain Exhibitions

Paul Hughes, global subsea leader for joint integrity specialists Hydratight, will, over the course of the next month be presenting at the Second International Conference and Exhibition on Best Practices in Pipeline Operations & Integrity Management in Bahrain and at the Pipeline Operations & Maintenance Summit in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Paul will make his presentation on the case for Mechanical Connector Emergency Pipeline Repair Systems (EPRS), in Bahrain on the 23rd October at 9.30am and at the Pipeline Operations & Maintenance Summit in Dusseldorf, Germany on 28th November at 4.15pm.

In his presentation, Paul will share insights on Hydratight’s dedicated Emergency Pipeline Repair Systems (EPRS), explaining how it offers better disaster planning and contingency services to operators and contractors.

At the heart of EPRS is the Hydratight mechanical connector, the world standard for weldless pipeline tie-in, repair and emergency contingencies both topside and subsea.

Paul Hughes explains, “As the value of subsea pipeline assets continue to rise, and as failures can have such catastrophic results, oil and gas operators are under increasing pressure to provide safer, faster and more effective contingency plans.

The potential for environmental damage of subsea pipelines requires a critical level of risk management and repair planning. EPRS can avoid much of the delay at the front end of the repair, including design specification, approvals procedure, costing and associated work that’s required in advance.”

Hydratight is a key supplier of mechanical pipeline connections to the subsea oil and gas industry, and has, for over 20 years been offering support for the growing global requirements for Emergency Pipeline Repair Systems.
