Icon Offshore scores three charters

Malaysia’s Icon Offshore has received contracts worth $43 million Malaysian ringgits ($12.3 million) for three of its offshore vessels.

The first contract for one of its supply vessel is with EnQuest’s subsidiary EQ Petroleum Production Malaysia Limited. Under the contract Icon will provide one Straight Supply Vessel for a period of two year. The contract will start this month.

EnQuest will have an option to extend the charter for another year.

Furthermore, Icon Offshore has said that it has received a contract extension for a utility tug vessel, from ‘an established oil major’. The contract, extended for one year, has already kicked off.

Also without revealing the name of the client, the company has said it has secured a contract extension for an Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel. The 134 days AHTS contract is slated to begin this month.
