India: Golden Brilliant Receives Newbuild Bulker from Pipavav

Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company Ltd has successfully delivered yet another masterpiece a 74,500 DWT Panamax Bulk Carrier namely “The Golden Brilliant” on January 21, 2013, to GOLDEN BRILLIANT INC., a group Company of GOLDEN OCEAN GROUP LTD., a Company headquartered in Norway.

The Dimensions of the vessel are:

– Length, overall : 224.9 Meters

– Breadth, moulded : 32.25 Meters

– Depth, moulded : 19.7 Meters

This is the ‘LARGEST’ dry bulk carrier of its class ever built in India.

The Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company Ltd stock was trading at Rs.88.70, up by Rs.0.20 or 0.23%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.89.35 and low of Rs.88.10.

The total traded quantity was 3.13 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 6.70 lakhs.
