India to Receive LNG Cargo

Aseem

Petronet’s Dahej terminal on India’s west coast is due to get a cargo of liquefied natural gas onboard the LNG tanker Aseem from Qatar on Saturday, shipping data reveals.

The 155,000 cbm LNG tanker, managed by the Shipping Corporation of India, was recently repaired at the Nakilat-Keppel Offshore & Marine (N-KOM) shipyard in Qatar.

The highlight of the repair was the renewal and installation of two AMZ 1120 rotors for the 12,650 KW capacity main propulsion motors, according to N-KOM.
