Citing industry sources, Reuters reports IOC issued a tender seeking a single cargo for the delivery in the second half of October.

The cargo is set to be delivered to the Ennore liquefied natural gas terminal at the Kamarajar port in south India.

It is the first LNG import facility on the eastern coast of India, and is capable of handling 5 million tons of LNG per year, equivalent to around 20 million cubic meters per day.

The tender is closing on September 19.
