Indonesia: Feb LNG Exports Climb 11.8 Percent

Indonesia’s LNG exports rose by 11.8 percent in February from the same period last year, according to data from the Indonesia Central Bank.

The country exported 1.558 million mt in February, up from 1.394 million mt in February 2011.

The average price received for LNG in Feb was about $671.29/mt.

Indonesia plans to sell 54 cargoes of LNG in the spot market in May, Rudi Rubiandini, operations deputy at BPMigas recently said.
