Indonesian LNG Bound for Korea

South Korea, the world’s second biggest buyer of LNG, is due to get a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Indonesia this week, according to the Pyeongtaek Port Authority.

The 125,877 cbm Wakaba Maru is sailing from Bontang terminal and it will reach the Pyeongtaek LNG terminal on March 30.

The Pyeongtaek LNG terminal is South Korea’s first LNG import terminal and it is operated by KOGAS.
