OLT Offshore LNG Toscana Updates on FSRU Toscana's Arrival

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana provided an update  about the timing concerning both the arrival of the FSRU Toscana in Livorno and the consequent start of the commercial activities.

In particular, the finalization of the project, in the shipyard of Dubai, will be shortly delayed.

This will be reflected on the arrival of the ship off the coasts of Livorno, expected now for the end of 1st quarter 2013. Consequently, the start of commercial activities is estimated for the beginning of the 3rd quarter of 2013.

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana, set up from the association of E.ON Group (46.79%), Iren Group (46.79%), Golar Offshore Toscana Limited (3.73%) and OLT Energy Toscana SpA (2.69%), was created to realize the regasification terminal project which envisages a floating unit positioned 22 km offshore the Tuscan coast. The gas will be transferred onshore through a 36.5 km long pipeline operated and managed by Snam Rete Gas, of which 29.5 km are at sea and 7 km on dry land.
