J. Lauritzen names new board member

At the annual general meeting, Jesper T. Lok, President & CEO of DSB (Danish Rail) was elected as a new member of the Board of Directors of J. Lauritzen A/S.

Prior to that, Lok was President & CEO of Svitzer, part of the Maersk Group from 2004 until March 2012.

Previously, Lok worked for A. P. Moller Maersk from 1987 until 2004 and held various managerial positions in Taiwan, Pakistan and Nigeria.

Lok holds an MBA from Nova University, Tokyo, Japan and has attended various executive courses at IMD in Switzerland and at Harvard, Kellogg and Columbia in the USA.
