Leighton Secures Four Engineering Projects

Leighton Engineering has been successful in securing four additional projects in recent months to add to their strong track record in undertaking detailed engineering work from the Engineering Centre of Excellence in Malaysia.

Leighton Engineering Director Ian Develin said: “The award of these projects is a credit to the dedication of our team and we are working hard with our clients to deliver this important engineering work.”

The new projects currently underway include three projects for Petronas Carigali, including:

– Provision of detailed design engineering services for Baram BADP-B revisit project, process topside design to increase production from 5 new wells.

– Provision for detailed engineering design and constructability study to install a new Control Room and deck extension for Bekok – A and Tiong – A upgrade.

– Provision of design verification services for Sumandak Tepi development project infill drilling and process topsides design optimization for increase oil production.

Leighton also has a follow on project for Kencana for the Cendor Bridge in which Leighton will perform all necessary Detailed Engineering designs deemed necessary for the completion of the Bridge Section 2 Redesign Works and an additional crane/slewing jib crane.
