Lindenau Shifts Focus of Activities

Lindenau will carry on their proud tradition of shipbuilding and repairs under their well-known name, since it stands for long-time experience and skills in German shipbuilding and many remarkable newbuildings.

But with the new investor, the core business of the third shipyard of the Privinvest Group in Germany is changing. From now on, Lindenau will focus their activities on ship repairs, conversions and maritime services of commercial, government and naval vessels.

The customers’ response to continuing the business of the shipyard on the Kiel Fjord at the entrance to the Kiel Canal is very positive, since the Lindenau team is renowned as a fast, flexible and competent partner in all kinds of ship repairs.

Now – together with their “sister yards” Nobiskrug and ADM Kiel – this flexibility can even be increased further. Coordinated by the well-known contact persons of the Lindenau repair facility in Kiel-Friedrichsort, docks and piers can also be provided on request at Nobiskrug in Rendsburg and ADM Kiel in Kiel-Gaarden.

Due to the cooperation with the other shipyards, Lindenau is now able to calculate, plan and realize more complex conversion projects as well as to coordinate even the shortest laytime. The yard will offer the customer a pier or dock at one of the three German facilities, which will perfectly match to the task and shipping route concerned.

The German shipbuilding group Nobiskrug, ADM Kiel und Lindenau is perfectly positioned for repairs and offers tailor-made solutions for repairs in all fields of shipping.
