LNG Limited updates on Magnolia project processes with FERC

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited updated on the status of information requests from the U.S. FERC in relation to Magnolia LNG.

LNG Limited reported that it submitted on the requested date its full and complete response to the FERC Engineering data information request. As reported previously these information requests allow FERC to clarify certain aspects of the fillings to assist them to complete and issue a draft environmental impact statement for the Magnolia LNG project.

The Engineering data information response represents a major step in the FERC filing process and is usually one of the final information requests sought by FERC before the issue of Notice of Schedule and DEIS, stands in the LNGL statement.

LNG Limited’s Managing Director and CEO Maurice Brand said that Magnolia LNG team submitted response to all 103 data requests from FERC. He added that Magnolia LNG is on tract to achieve its primary goal of achieving financial close in mid-2015 and first LNG in 2018.
