LNG tanker due at Portugal’s Sines next week

REN’s Sines LNG terminal in Portugal is expected to receive a cargo of the chilled gas on July 13.

The 160,000 cbm Golar Frost is carrying the cargo from Nigeria’s LNG export plant on Bonny Island, port data reveals.

Golar LNG has in January this year chartered its two newbuilds Golar Crystal and Golar Frost to Nigeria LNG for a period of 12 months.

NLNG has decided to retire 3 of its smaller LNG carriers and to replace these with Golar’s more modern ships while the company awaits the delivery of its own new vessels.
