Mainport Completes Purchase of New Vessel (Ireland)

Mainport completed the purchase of the Forth Hunter last on Thursday 12 July in Edinburgh.

The ship has now been renamed Mainport Kells and she started her new long term contract in Bergen supporting the seismic industry.

The vessel is owned and managed by Mainport. She is currently on charter to Western Geco in the North Sea.

Mainport is an integrated marine services company which provides a full range of marine services to shipowners, exporters, importers, oil companies, seismic survey companies, and others involved in the maritime trades.

Mainport offers ship agency, stevedoring, oil base management and warehousing services. In addition to the ship owning services, they offer offshore support vessels covering safety standby, tugs, tanker assist, towage, bunkering and seismic support services.
