Intergraph 2012 Southeast Asia Conference Kicks Off

Intergraph®, the leading global provider of engineering software, opened its annual Intergraph 2012 Southeast Asia users’ conference last week in Jakarta, Indonesia. This industry-leading conference continues today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, bringing the country’s top process, power and marine companies together for two days of informative sessions and networking among industry leaders.

Intergraph 2012 Southeast Asia wraps up in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, at the end of the week. These events are sponsored by Intergraph’s Process, Power & Marine (PP&M) division, which for 30 years has provided local resources to support engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies and owner operators executing projects and operating facilities in the Southeast Asia region.

Intergraph 2012 Southeast Asia features keynote sessions by Riekie Swanepoel of Eskom Holdings, as well as Patrick Holcomb, executive vice president of global business development for Intergraph PP&M, and Franz Kufner, senior vice president of Intergraph PP&M Asia-Pacific. The conferences also feature customer presentations by process, power and marine industry representatives from major organisations, such as Technip, WorleyParsons, Vietsovpetro, Petrovietnam Marine Shipyard, Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical and others. Intergraph 2012 Southeast Asia gives to the engineering customers a unique opportunity to learn about the latest industry developments and leverage best practices from other companies.

Southeast Asia continues to be an important region for Intergraph, with the economy expected to benefit further from strong demand for energy and resources,” said Franz Kufner, Intergraph PP&M senior vice president for Asia-Pacific. “We are committed to meeting our customers’ needs, and we just expanded our local presence in Kuala Lumpur last month to support growth in oil and gas projects in Malaysia and the region. Intergraph 2012 Southeast Asia provides the opportunity to show our customers how our industry-leading solutions can help them enhance safety, improve quality, enable interoperability, boost productivity, reduce timelines and ensure data accuracy across the facility life cycle.”
